This aromatic Thai basil beef stir-fry features tender strips of beef tossed in a savory-sweet sauce with fresh vegetables and fragrant basil. A restaurant-quality dinner that comes together faster than takeout delivery.
Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar in a small bowl and set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat until smoking.
Add beef slices in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, cooking until internal temperature reaches 71°C (160°F). Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the wok, then add garlic and chilli. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add bell pepper and sugar snap peas, stir-frying for 2 minutes until crisp-tender.
Return beef to the wok and pour in the prepared sauce. Toss everything together for 1 minute.
Remove from heat, add spring onions and fresh basil leaves, tossing until basil is just wilted.
Serve immediately over steamed jasmine rice.
